For more than 20 years I've been delivering UX value both as a design leader and individual contributor to a broad range of products for a diverse set of markets and audiences. Sample projects can be found below.
Focus
At it's core design is problem solving which includes defining the right products & services to meet real needs with distinct and compelling characteristics delivered in a way that captures the heart of it's audience.
What’s next
I'm looking for opportunities in product design in which I can contribute a strategic vision and experience to a creative and energetic environment with an emphasis on quality, and innovation.
Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful.
For the last 8 years I have led UX across a number of Google products within Core Experiences, Google Cloud, and GBO. My primary responsibilities include delivering innovative UX solutions across mission critical programs of considerable scope and size, developing long term vision and strategy, aligning business and user goals to deliver meaningful results, driving strong collaboration across functions and product areas, managing team operational & organizational processes, and mentoring and growing a multidisciplinary UX team.

Castlight Health - Director of User Experience (4/12 - 3/15)
Castlight offers a health benefits platform that engages employees to make better healthcare decisions and enables employers to communicate and evaluate their benefit programs.
At Castlight I lead the UX team in defining a new enterprise product and built a strong UX practice, team, and culture within a rapidly growing and evolving company. I grew the UX team from 2 - 8+ FTE in addition to managing a series of contractors and agencies to help fill gaps when needed.

Ophoto.com was one of the earliest online photo sharing/printing sites started in 1999. It was purchased by Kodak in 2001 and was later rebranded as Kodak Gallery in 2005. I joined in early 2007 and led a number of large scale ux intiatives included redesigning the e-commerce platform (shopping experience (product catalog), photo gift creation apps, check-out and fulfillment experiences) in addition to redesigns of the sharing experience, account management, and more

Wells Fargo is a provider of banking, mortgage, investing, credit card, insurance, and consumer and commercial financial services.
After spending a few years prior working in startups I thought it was time to gain experience with a larger more established company. in 2004 Wells Fargo was one of a small number of large companies investing in design and user experience. I was lucky enough to get a chance to lead a team as well as work directly on a number of large projects focused on humanizing complicated systems and content across the company.
